Poverty doesn't have a single cause, and it won't have a single solution. That's why we're taking an interconnected approach to tackle it. Through affordable housing projects, programs that strengthen the nonprofit sector, and direct investment in local agencies, we're creating the conditions for every person in our region to have a hopeful future filled with opportunities.

ED Academy

ED Academy, first launched by United Way PEI in 2022, is a training program that aims to build on the skills and experience of executive directors.

Who We Fund

Following our first regional funding application process since unifying in 2024, United Way Maritimes is investing more than $8 million in operational and program funding into 136 unique organizations in 2026 and 2027, across all seven Maritime offices. This ensures that funding is reaching local organizations and directly responding to the unique needs of the communities they serve.
