It’s now open: The Invisible Champions 2026 Nomination.
We are thrilled to announce that nominations are officially open for the 2026 Invisible Champions Awards! Organized by United Way Maritimes and the Bhayana Family Foundation, this event aims to shine a spotlight on the unsung heroes driving social change across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
These awards hold a special place in acknowledging the impact, diversity, and future of the nonprofit sector. Sponsored by Raksha M. Bhayana and the Bhayana Family Foundation, the event will feature thirty $1,000 awards recognizing outstanding commitment to community. These awards honour individuals who embody the essence of the Invisible Champions Awards.
Eligible Nominees
- Individuals
- Paid front-line staff of a nonprofit in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, or PEI.
- Permanent or contract front-line staff with at least one year of service.
Not open to
- Self-nominations or nominations of family members.
- Past award recipients within the last 10 years are ineligible.
