About United Way
Maritimes

Seven United Way organizations from across the region came together to form United Way Maritimes. Uniting our organizations across the region helps us make a bigger impact on our communities. Your United Way is still yours—but now it is even stronger.

Combining our finances and fundraising means we have the resources to take on bigger projects, locally and regionally. Unification makes cooperation and collaboration between United Ways easier. Donors and partners have even more opportunities to create meaningful impact throughout the maritime region.

Now there are three independently-run United Way organizations serving communities across the Maritime provinces. These include United Way Centraide Moncton, United Way Cape Breton and United Way Maritimes | Serving Central & Southwestern NB, PEI, & Mainland NS. Continued collaboration with our fellow regional movement members will be a particular focus moving forward. Please visit these sites directly to make a local Moncton area or Cape Breton contribution.

What’s next?

We’re already doing the work to ensure this process is a success. There will be more details to come over the next few weeks and we look forward to updating you along the way.
